The past few years I have found out that things I thought I hated, I actually love. Here is a few examples; Reading, Running, and Spaghetti. Yep, believe it or not I used to gag at the thought of Spaghetti, and now I would eat if for breakfast if I could. And a year ago you could not have payed me to run around the block, now my day has not started yet without running at least 3 miles.
So yesterday I watched this movie. And I thought.... I wish I loved to cook, I wish I knew how to cook well.... I wish I knew how to cook healthy. When in all reality Tacos, hamburgers, and Hawaiian haystacks are a weekly re-run at my house.
So I am pushing myself, I am going to try to learn to love to cook! (oh crap, I just said it, just realized that by me telling people I am now putting some accountability on myself)
So I need a few cook books, the only one that is gracing my kitchen is 'the Panguitch Relief Society Cookbook', that my mom gave me when I was 13..... I have looked over at Amazon and found a few that might be good!
if any of you know of a great cook book (remember I am going for healthy) please share your secret!

ReplyDeletetoni, i want to make my blog a book? how exactly do i do it and what choices do it choose?
ReplyDeleteI use 'The Pioneer Woman Cooks' for just about everything. You can find it at thepioneerwoman.com or can buy the cookbook. She lives in a very rural place and so everything that she cooks with is very basic. Some of her recipes aren't the healthiest, but you can add and subtract almost anything to her recipes.
