Ok So I just started reading this boom, Lady in Boomtown by Mrs. Hugh Brown.
Its a true story about a 19 year old woman who moved to Tonopah in 1904 only 2 days after she got married.  I am only 1 chapter into it and I cant help but share a few sentences with you.  Funny how after 100 years this book is speaking so clearly to me.

"Are you going to Tonopah?"
"Yes," I replied lightly.
She looked at me steadily for a moment, and then an expression of sadness came into her eyes.  Young as I was, I realized this desert woman was looking into the life ahead of me with eyes of experience, and the brooding pity in her face struck across my happiness like a chill wind.  In my heart I resented her judgment.  I was young, true, and inexperienced.  But I was enthusiastic and in love. Why shouldn't I be happy?

Sorry, most of you will probably read that and wonder what I am getting at.  But SERIOUSLY,  I feel like I have been both of these women.  I just could not help but laugh as I read this.
